Las Vegas attorneys Robert McBride, Heather Hall and their team have departed the Long Beach, California defense firm of Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen & McBride, to launch a new six-lawyer boutique litigation firm, McBride Hall. The new firm will continue to focus its attention on medical malpractice defense along with a mix of general civil liability litigation, nursing home litigation, dental malpractice and professional board matters.

They are joined by former CKTF&M litigators Chelsea R. Hueth and Sean M. Kelly, who are partners in the new venture.

"We intend to build a leading litigation firm in Nevada, focusing on the defense of quality healthcare professionals," said McBride, who will serve as the firm's first managing partner. "The current healthcare crisis facing medical professionals with the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 has the potential to impact the practice of medicine for the foreseeable future. We believe we have a responsibility to stand behind these providers as they are likely to face challenges over the next six months to years from litigation directed at challenging their decision-making and professional care in the face of this crisis."

"This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to create a focused, trial practice in Nevada with the best lawyers I know defending good medical care," added Hall.
